Hi all, I know some of you know about this already but I am one of the people helping to organise the Fearless Cities Summit 1-3 Nov in Sheffield. You are warmly invited!
Fearless Cities began in 2017 in Barcelona as a gathering of radical municipalist initiatives from across the world. This is the first time it is happening in the UK and the focus is ‘Reimagining Our Commons Through Neighbourhoods of Care’. The focus is on themes (Democracy, Care, Commons and Futures) and also tools such as citizens’ assemblies and of course co-operatives. Unfortunately I won’t be able to make our Autumn Gathering (because of my involvement in Fearless Cities) but maybe some of you down in Sheffield anyway will want to stay on (the main programme is the weekend, Sat and Sun - I think there are just a couple less formal things on Fri). Or if any others want to come! It would be great to see you there.
