New Co-op: Tech Care Co-op

Helllooo, as many of you know, I’m one of the founder members of Autonomic which I have been working at for the last seven years but I wanted to try some new business models and learn new skills.

Early days, but I’m starting a new worker co-op called Tech Care Co-op that provides compassionate and personalised tech support for folks working for social good.

Do you find yourself getting stuck and frustrated when trying to get stuff done?Sometimes the problems that might be a total nightmare showstopper for you, may take us ten minutes to solve.

We’ll consider any tech (desktop/mobile/server) issues but we have a strong preference for open source.

Our goal is to build up tech resiliency within a small client base that make a big difference in the world.

The price for support for individuals is 1GBP per minute, so that’s 60GBP per hour.

I sent a request to the Signal a couple of days back and it’s still showing unread - if this is expected then it might be worth putting something on the website to set expectations around response time, if it’s not expected - I think there might be tech problem.

It’s actually human layer. I’ve been extremely busy.
