One month to go to Worker Co-op Weekend

One month to go until Worker Co-op Weekend!

Please please register by the end of May so that we can give caterers numbers for food

We’re going to be finalising the programme soon so last calls for submitting a session here. We’ll try to keep some open spaces for last minute or spontaneous meetups.

We’re hosting a co-operators cake sale, so bring along a cake if you can! :shortcake: :cupcake:

UPDATES

  • You can now book a seat on the minibus from London to the venue (spaces are very limited, first come first serve). You can book at the same time as booking your event ticket, just select the London minibus option as you check out.

  • Bursaries are still available. The deadline to apply for bursaries is 22 May. Find more info on the event page or fill out the application form here. If you are a young cooperator under 30 apply for a travel bursary here.

  • There will be childcare and a kid’s programme for school aged children, read more about the kids offering on the event page or email questions solidarity@workers.coop. We’ll be in touch with all parents after booking. The Kid’s programme will run like last year with nature-based activities and play.

  • Abbeydale Brewery, an employee owned brewer in Sheffield, are kindly supplying us with some beer which will be available to buy on Friday and Saturday evenings, along with soft drinks!

  • Bring cash - for things like cake, beer.

  • We’ll have directions to spots for wild swimming, given it’s June you may wish to bring swimming gear!

We are really excited to meet everyone there!

Thanks to our main event sponsor, Domains.coop, for their generous support again this year. .coop will be at the event where you will be able to connect with them and learn more about adopting shared coop domain identity.

Thanks also to Agile Collective, Suma Wholefoods and Leading Lives for their sponsorships and contributions.

Update:

Please find him to ask about putting your organisation on stories.coop or getting verified on the cooperative world map.
