We are looking to our SSE fellows community to share their expertise and insight to help us reach, engage and support more social enterprises and community businesses.

As part of an upcoming campaign to launch a new programme across England, we are asking SSE fellows to create content that growing social enterprises and community businesses would find useful. This would help us reach and engage more organisations as well as empower SSE fellows to promote their wisdom and incredible work.

We have two kinds of opportunity available. Don’t worry if you’re not a seasoned marketing writer. We will help fine tune the content and create branded graphics to go with it.

Resource creator

We pay: £400
You create: 1 written resource with useful information to social enterprises and community businesses (see suggested topics below):

  • 600 - 800 words
  • Around 5 – 8 paragraphs
  • 50 – 100 words per paragraph
  • Includes promotion of our upcoming programme (we will provide copy)
  • Tag anyone else relevant to the information you share

Social media creator
We pay: £100 per piece
You create: 1 social media post that shares useful information to social enterprises and community businesses (see suggested topics below):

  • Example (feel free to add me on Linkedin)
  • 100 - 180 words
  • 5 – 6 short paragraphs with a short title for each
  • only 20-30 words per paragraph
  • Includes promotion of our upcoming programme (we will provide copy)
  • Tag anyone else relevant to the information you share

  • Setting up and running a cooperative
  • Increasing trading to create more impact
  • Community asset transfer
  • Community asset management
  • Community engagement
  • Improving local area through community business or social enterprise
