We bank with The Co-operative Bank.
We are losing a member of admin staff this week and are about to enter our busy season in about 4 weeks. I have looked into registering for BACS before but discounted is as I didn’t think we were quite big enough.
Currently to make each payment takes about 15 clicks and a bit of typing, with many of the clicks there is a bit of a delay as the next page loads and I often have to do an extra security validation usig the dongle, so it all take a lot of time.
In the busy period we may have 70 payments a week to make.
I gather with BACS we just put those payments in a spreadsheet and upload it.
Anyway I phoned the co-op bank number that they advertise for BACS help and the operator admitted that they didn’t really know about BACS and then proved it by the questions they were asking
. They also told me that the BACS department don’t really take phone calls and so I would have to email my questions. I have done this but I was wondering if there is anyone here who uses BACS and specifically BACS with a co-op bank current account that I could speak to about it.
