The meeting went well. Everyone enjoyed the guest speakers we had and learnt a lot, including us. I think it’s important to have a local connection with farmers and what the council is doing with their food initiatives. It would have been even better if more people had turned up, but with events and meetings you can never guarantee the turn-out you expect. We still had a good number of people come, and some useful discussions during the Q&A session.
We’ve had a few more people sign up to the newsletter. Maybe a couple more people may invest some money. We nearly found a site but turned it down because of the parking arrangements.
Overall, I think it’s going well.
