We are hoping to start having regular networking / socialising gathering for co-operators in Sheffield and are having the first event on Thursday 6th March from 5:30pm at The Gardeners Rest:
Launch of the Sheffield Co-op Meetup, part of the Festival of Social Enterprise!
This informal gathering is a chance to connect, share ideas, and explore opportunities with fellow co-operators, social entrepreneurs, and community-minded individuals.
Whether you’re already part of a co-op, curious about co-operative ways of working, or looking to network with like-minded people, this event is for you. Hosted in the conservatory at the vibrant and welcoming Gardeners Rest, the only co-operative pub in Sheffield, this meetup is the perfect opportunity to grow Sheffield’s co-operative community in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Let’s come together to celebrate co-operation, inspire action, and spark new collaborations. See you there!
The Gardeners Rest will be providing some snacks and sandwiches.
I am very excited to see this happening. Let us know if we can support in any way - we haven’t as yet got a graphic but we could develop one if that would be useful going forward, for the local groups to use to promote it. Will add the event and put in Newsletters.
Thanks @samnord thankfully the event organiser for SSEN is helping with this, she was inspired by the Glasgow and Birmingham ones — when I showed her the posts you have done for these in the past she was keen to ensure Sheffield could match them!

Something that I never have time for but always bothers me is not having nice thumbnail pics for our events. Something that a supporter could take on! Will add to Comms agenda.
